TEAM HELD A SUMMER HEALTH DAY FOR THE CONGREGATION AT BALTIMORE’S LIBERTY GRACE CHURCH OF GOD CONGREGANTS, AS WELL AS THEIR FRIENDS AND FAMILY, WERE GIVEN FREE HEART AND KIDNEY HEALTH SCREENINGS. THE GOAL IS TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR CERTAIN HEALTH RISK FACTORS LIKE HIGH CHOLESTEROL, WHICH IS SOMETHING THAT AFFECTS 1 IN 5 PEOPLE AND CAN INCREASE THE RISK OF HEART DISEASE AND STROKE. Congregants at the Liberty Grace Church of God in Baltimore were given free heart and kidney health screenings Sunday as part of the Care First team’s Summer Health Day. The goal is to raise awareness for certain health risk factors like high cholesterol, something that affects one in five people, and can increase the risk of heart disease and stroke.
